Movement Disorders Telehealth Program

Does your hand tremble when you hold your coffee cup?

If you have this symptom, you may have a movement disorder like Parkinson’s disease or Huntington’s Disease. The University of Colorado Movement Disorders Center will soon offer telehealth visits with its neurologists for people with movement disorders who are receiving Colorado Medicaid or people living in rural or frontier areas of Colorado who are otherwise unable to receive subspecialist care.

You don’t have to leave your home to connect virtually with a university neurologist.

To schedule an appointment or refer a patient, please call 303-724-0443, fax 720-844-3275, or email MvtTelehealthUPL@cuanschutz.edu.

For providers who are interested in learning more about diagnosing and treating movement disorders and when to refer to a subspecialist, please look for our ECHO Colorado program. Our next sessoin will be announced soon and registration information will be available. Please stay tuned. (This program is intended for medical providers only. Credentials will be verified before entry to the program is granted.)
